Video: History of Upward Bound

11 Aug

Video created and produced by Upward Bound University of University of South Carolina. Proforma is just helping James Prince, Jr., MFA, Program Coordinator, Upward Bound – University of South Carolina, get the film out to the TRIO family. Enjoy

The USC Upward Bound Program was one of the first Upward Bound Programs that began in 1964. Today the program serves over 100 students providing academic and enrichment services that enable them to not only gain admission to, but graduate from a post-secondary institution. This summer USCUB students participated in a social media research course where they learned the history behind social media, proper use of social media, and how to use it as a communication tool for both personal and business purposes. One of the projects they produced was their 50th Anniversary Video celebrating all of the ways that Upward Bound has not only helped them academically, but socially as well. Check it out!
