National TRIO Day 40th Anniversary – Wayne State University, TRIO, 2/2/2026

Res. 278 declared the sense of Congress that February 28, 1986, should be designated “National TRIO Day” and that the achievements of the TRIO programs should be recognized. Every year since then, the fourth Saturday in February is reserved as National TRIO Day – a day of celebration, reflection, and action.
